In 2012, New Brunswick Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification introduced the Learning Strategist Model for struggling apprentices. By developing customized learning plans and implementing accommodations and interventions tailored to each person’s needs, many talented apprentices at risk for failure have successfully navigated training, testing, and the transition to the workforce.

By addressing these apprentices’ obstacles, New Brunswick became a leader in innovative solutions to meet training needs. New Brunswick now boasts of having one of the most thorough learning support models for apprentices in Canada. Since 2019, VLS has allowed the same level of support for apprentices in training across the country. VLS Canada has expanded beyond apprenticeship to serve pre-employment and employment clients, and we want to help YOU!

VLS Canada embraces virtual program delivery to provide a wrap-around learning support model with access across the country.

It bridges the self-directed learning barrier often associated with online learning by fostering a genuine connection between a client and their Learning Strategist, who oversees their services and delivers support.
